Penni Du Plessis Divine Space
In short
Penni Du Plessis of Divine Space explains how she moved from running a decorating business into colour therapy in 1993, developed the Antanea massage technique with its own range of light matrix oils, and later added Access Bars. Listeners get a plain description of what each treatment involves, why she removed colouring from her oils, and her core advice: fear invites more of what you fear.
How did Penni get from interior decorating into colour healing?
She was running a decorating business from the age of 21, divorced at 25 with two small babies, when she picked up a book on colour healing and felt the truth of it. Because she was already working with colour for corporate interiors, learning the meaning behind colours excited her; she trained with the Academy of Color Therapeutics from 1993.
What actually happens in a colour reading?
Clients choose nine bottles from a display, and each bottle represents a different part of their life. The colours they are drawn to reveal gifts, strengths, obstacles and potential, and the session becomes a counselling conversation. Penni describes it as a good first step because it lets both people get to know and trust each other.
Why did she stop making coloured oils?
Her guide told her to remove anything unnatural, and the only unnatural element was the cosmetic colouring — natural dyes like spinach or carrot turn grey in light. After stewing on it for a year she moved the colour onto a 12-pointed star sticker on the bottle, so the oils now reflect colour rather than absorb it.
What is the Antanea treatment like?
It is a soft, gentle massage worked mostly on the back of the body, in which the body is massaged three times in one session using 12 light matrix oils. The first physical sequence takes about 40 minutes, the emotional sequence about 20, and the soul-self sequence, done with a feather-light touch, about 15.
Where does sound come into the treatment?
Sound balances the inner emotional and spiritual side, while colour addresses what can be seen and touched. Penni used to tone over each chakra, but trainees became nervous about toning and left it out, so she developed a xylophone-like instrument of chime pipes of different lengths that rests on the back to play music onto the spine.
What led her to Access Bars?
Every bank refused her a bond eight years ago, which pushed her into depression and brought her business to a standstill. A student, Marieke, offered a session swap; Penni was sceptical while lying there being held by the head, then fell into deep sleep and afterwards could not remember her name.
What changed after she started using the Access tools?
After a second session she felt lighter, brighter and happy for the first time in a long while. Practising gratitude — being thankful for a single small oil order rather than dismissing it — preceded steadily bigger orders, export distributors in Taiwan and France, and a bond for the house within two or three months.
What did she make in response to the pandemic?
On 22 April she was given the vision of a new olive-coloured oil, which deliberately returned to having colour in it because people were sitting in fear. The olive comes from hidden yellow, which is the fear, and green, the space we are in; it contains eucalyptus, clove and cinnamon.
What is her advice for coping with the uncertainty of lockdown?
Do not sit in fear, because the higher self does not distinguish positive from negative — it simply gives more of whatever is given attention. She suggests taking free or low-cost online courses, watching happy films and having fun with children rather than becoming intense and worried.
In their words
I picked up a book on color healing. And I read this book, and it was like the light switched on in my whole brain and existence because I could feel the truth of it.
I have a special room that I make and charge the oils. I make sure that I'm always in a very clear space that I make them, because I know that I take responsibility for whatever's in it.
You leave there feeling like you have been kissed by angels from top to toe.
And whenever you are down, you sabotage everything in your life. This is really something that's proven. And I've seen it over and over and over again in my own life and others.
Because whatever you give attention to, your higher self does not know the difference between what is a positive and what is a negative.
Key takeaways
- Colour therapy training with the Academy of Color Therapeutics in 1993 grew directly out of Penni's earlier work choosing colours for corporate interiors.
- The Antanea technique layers 12 colour oils over the back three times in one session, addressing physical, emotional and soul levels in turn.
- Penni reads reluctance to give up coloured oils as a sign someone is still stuck in what she calls the trauma drama story.
- She no longer offers one-to-one Antanea sessions herself, preferring to refer clients to the therapists she has trained in South Africa, the UK, Australia and the USA.
- Her pandemic oil is presented as a preventative that supports the immune system, not a cure for COVID-19.
- Sabotage follows depression: when the banks turned her down, her business came to a standstill, and gratitude practice is what she credits with reversing it.
Show notes
On this episode I change course just a little and we explore the healing properties of sound, colour and energy with Penni.
I have personally had a couple of treatments with Penni and they are awesome, her Antanea technique is sublime.
Frequently asked questions
Are the oils fragranced, and what goes into them?
Yes. The oils contain between seven and eleven essential oils in a base of sweet almond, macadamia or fractionated coconut; the sprays are water-based with 10 to 25 essential oils. They are charged under pyramids with crystal grids, sound vibrations and geometric plates.
What does an Access Bars course involve?
It is a one-day course with two session swaps, videos, a set of tools and lunch. The swaps let Penni confirm that finger placements are correct, after which the participant can work as a bars therapist.
How do the Access tools differ from other self-help methods?
They use no affirmations and no visualisations. Instead the work is about staying in the question and handing that question to the higher self to answer, rather than trying to solve and fix problems consciously.
Was Penni able to keep working under lockdown?
She has been seeing clients again since level three, taking only one or two a day so the room and she can be sanitised in between. She mostly offers Access Bars, colour readings and body processes.
What ranges does Divine Space now carry?
A light matrix range, oils of illumination carrying angelic energy, angel sprays for room and space clearing, and 15 candles — eight archangel and seven chakra — that hold the essential oils.

And it is yet another edition of What's Involved on this Monday. My special guest joining me today is Penny Duplicie. Now, before we get into who Penny is and what she does, etc., etc., we were just talking and I have last spoken to you, Penny, and seen you almost 20 years ago. Do you have any idea how old that makes me feel? When you talk for years back, you can't believe it feels like, really, a blink of an eye or like a different lifetime. Yeah, definitely a different lifetime, I must say. We got to meet each other in the low felt, or the slow felt as we like to call it. You move to Joburg and then after that, I also moved back to Joburg. So tell me a little bit about Penny Duplicie. Do you own and run something called Divine Space? Yes, I do. All right, so let's say a little bit about Penny because Divine Space, and let me warn everybody now, David is getting on one of these sort of alternative esoteric journeys right now. So brace yourselves, it's going to be fun. Penny is also very much into this kind of thing. So let's start off with how you got involved in the-- because Divine Space is color healing. There's a lot of things, we'll get into that. But how did you get onto this path, Penny?
So the way I got onto it is I ran a decorating business from the age of 21. And I got married when I was 20, got divorced when I was 25. And by that time, I had two tiny babies. And I was decorating and running around in square circles just trying to survive and trying to cope and trying to keep my sanity. And then one day, I picked up a book on color healing. And I read this book, and it was like the light switched on in my whole brain and existence because I could feel the truth of it. And I went, oh, my word, I need to learn more about this. Because I was doing decorating anyway, and that was mostly for corporates that I was doing interiors, to actually understand and learn that there was a meaning behind the colors and to work with color from that perspective really excited me. So I attended many, many courses with a company called the Academy of Color Therapeutics and went to the UK as well and learned to become a teacher in that. And that was in 1993. And that was the start of my journey of truly understanding color. And I ran my decorating business on one side while doing color readings on the other. Now, the color readings, you have a whole display of various different bottles.
And people would choose a series of bottles. And you can do an assessment on them. So by the colors they're attracted to, tells them a lot about who they are and where they're going and what their hurdles are, et cetera, et cetera. So this was just fully every part of my being. And when I saw the changes both in myself and my children, the coping was so much easier. The moods were easier. Everything, just even the health was easier. This was something that I became very passionate about. And I ran that for many years. And then I moved to White River in 1997. And just before moving to White River, I had connected with somebody who is a channel. And she channeled my guide. And my guide started teaching me various different steps of a massage technique that incorporates all these colored oils together with sound and symbols, et cetera. And this organization, their basis was actually in White River, which is why I moved there. And I gave up my decorating business. And kind of immersed myself full time in working in the spiritual realm, as you can see. So every morning, 8 o'clock every morning, we're in meditation. The company that I had joined was called All Star. And they were a bunch of really, really high quality teachers and psychics.
And yeah, it was like I had come home. However, living in White River was not easy. People didn't really accept me. Because I was from Joburg. And it was so interesting, it was only when I moved back to Joburg that I started getting calls from those people again, or from people that had avoided me while I lived there, saying, oh, they wanted to come and see me. And you snooze, you lose. I've gone now, babes. I gave you four years. So yeah, that's how I started my journey. It is a funny part of the world, though, the low felt, the old Eastern transport. I mean, when we moved down there initially as well, I hated the place. I didn't like the people. It was very tricky. Nobody wanted to know anything. And it takes a while to get in. The strange part is there's a lot of very esoteric, alternative fringe kind of people there. But at the same time, it's very conservative. It was very confusing to me. So I can understand, because I sort of hung out with a lot of those people that you know as well. And that's how we, in fact, got to meet. So that was very interesting. Now, I remember that you make your own oils, your own color oils now, because the technique you were talking about is the Antonia technique.
Am I correct? Yes, Antonia technique. Oh, Antonia. Yes. OK. So but you then also got into making all your own oils with the fragrances, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. What I think we should do is we need to talk a little bit more about that. So when we come back, my special guest from Divine Space is Penny Duplessis. We'll give you all her details. Don't worry, we'll get to that. And you'll be able to maybe book a session with Penny as well. We'll talk about that when we come back. It is what's involved. Very good to have you along with us. And we're back. What's involved that is my special guest from Divine Space is Penny Duplessis. So just before the break, Penny, we were talking about how you got onto this journey. And then this technique that you developed, you made your own oils. Because I know at one stage, there was-- I think it was an international brand that was very, very popular. It was called Orosoma, I believe. Yeah, so that's what I studied in both in South Africa. The trainer from Orosoma came to Joburg and ran courses here. Joburg, Kaptan, and Durban. That's what I started with in 1993. And then when I developed the Antonia, which came through Jackie Tabranca and her guide, whose name is Asti, when I developed that, I was working with the Orosoma oils initially.
But it just didn't feel like it was in resonance with their treatment, because the treatment was my own. And yet the oils weren't. So they weren't holding the same vibration. So it was only in 2001 when I came back to Joburg that I actually started slowly making my own oils, and then moved away from Orosoma and worked only with-- and my oils are called-- I've got three different ranges, a light matrix range, a range called oils of illumination, which hold angelic energy. And then I have angel sprays, which are for room and space carrying. And initially, because Orosoma was colored, Orosoma had two different colors in every bottle. The one was a water fraction, and the other is an oil fraction. And they're absolutely magnificent products. They're beautiful oils. But they are made in the UK. So obviously, with the exchange rate also, that became another factor, was the pricing factor. So I have chosen not to make dual-colored oils, because I didn't want to be a threat to Orosoma or copy their stuff. And because my oils were used and developed to use in massage on the body, they are a pure oil factor. So the first range I made were called oils of transformation, and they were also colored.
And I used those for probably 17 years, together with the other two ranges. And then I kept getting a message from my guide that I had to remove anything that wasn't natural out of the oils. Now, the only thing that is not natural in the oils is the coloring, because if you try and use natural coloring, like spinach to make green or carrot to make orange, the minute it hits the light, it all goes gray. So I was using cosmetic coloring, but it was not a natural product. So when I was told to take the colors out, I went into this wobble, because I thought, how can I take the color out when I'm known in South Africa as one of the color ladies? And how would it work if I remove the color? So I stewed over this for about a year. And eventually, it was actually at the end of the year, in December, that I got this aha moment. And I have a special symbol that I use in the antimeo treatment, which is a 12-pointed star that has a very, very high vibration. And I looked at that, and I went, hey, what if I change the background color of the star for each bottle? So the one would be blue, and the other one would be red, the other one would be orange, et cetera, et cetera. And how would that work?
So I kind of got hold of a graphic designer and played with it, and sorted it out, and eventually made stickers that go onto the bottle that have the color, rather than the color being inside the oil. Now, when I first made this, I ran both ranges at the same time, because a lot of people were reluctant to let go of the colored oils. They liked the colors. So for about a year, I ran them in tandem. And then I kind of realized, because I've sat and focused with the energy of both ranges. And I went, hey, this is really interesting. Because if you look at a bottle that is colored, or a liquid that is colored, it feels more intense. And it actually is more intense, because it's absorbed the color, and it's holding that. So what I realized was the people that were reluctant to let go of those colored oils were actually people that were really stuck in that story, or whatever the story was. So if you're looking at a green oil, they would be really stuck in, where am I going in my life? What do I want to do with my life? What direction do I want to take? And I can't see away care of this. And they're stuck in their story. It's the trauma drama story, which is more third dimensional. Whereas the light matrix oils reflect the color, because the color is not stuck in the oil.
It's reflected out of it. So that, for me, was the people that were willing to choose that were willing to really step out of the story, and go into another easier fifth dimensional reality. So I got to a point where I just said, OK, I'm not willing to play in the third dimensional stuff anymore, and I don't want anybody coming to me to be stuck there either. So I dropped the oils of transformation, the colored ones, and only now work with the ones that reflect the color, rather than absorb the color. Does that make sense? Sometimes people go, what the hell are you talking about? I think it makes sense to me purely because I know you, and I've actually used some of those oils before. I think, particularly, they are the angel sprays I've used before, and I've done a color reading with you as well, if I remember correctly. So I kind of understand, but I think it's been very well explained. Now, you talk about doing the body work, the massage, and these special oils. Are they still fragranced, or is there no fragrance? Absolutely. Absolutely. They're made completely holistically. I make them myself. I have a special room that I make and charge the oils. I make sure that I'm always in a very clear space that I make them, because I know that I take responsibility for whatever's in it.
So if I'm in a bad state of being or not feeling so great, I don't want to put that energy into the oil and pass it on to somebody else. So the oils themselves have between seven and 11 different essential oils in them. And the sprays have anywhere between 10 and 25 different essential oils. And the oils have a base. The base oil that holds it is either sweet almond, macadamia. And I'm now also playing with fractionated coconut, which is quite nice. And the sprays are all water-based, with all those huge amounts of essential oils in. They have crystal energies. They charge under pyramids with crystal grids, sound vibrations, geometric plates, all sorts of things that really raise the vibration and make them extremely special. And now also, I have a small-- well, not a small. I have a range of 15 candles that also hold the essential oils and also invite kind of the beautiful light presence into a space just by lighting the candles. I've got eight archangel candles and seven chakra candles. Now, that also is absolutely fascinating. Penny, what sort of people would come to you for a treatment, though? Let's talk about that when we come back, because once again, I see our time is marching.
And when we come back, we're going to chat some more with Penny Duplisi and find out more about the oils and about the treatments. It is what's involved. And we're back. My special guest is Penny Duplisi from Divine Space. So Penny, just before the break, I started with the question, what sort of people would come to you, and what sort of treatments would they then request? So I have various different things that I offer. And I have many, many therapists that I have trained that are also available in all sorts of different areas that can support people. I find that anybody who's uncomfortable in whatever is going on in their life, when they're looking for change, or they're looking for growth, or they're looking for understanding more about themselves. So when they come for a color reading, which is one of the modalities that I offer, I get them to choose nine different bottles. And each bottle represents a different part of their life. And we then just unpack and we chat about it. And we can see what their gifts are, what their strengths are, what their obstacles are, what their potential is, what the future may hold for them. And it becomes a counseling session. And anybody at any age can attend that.
There's no threat to it. There's no woo-woo stuff too much. Depends on the clients and how woo-woo they want to go. But that's more of a counseling treatment. So it's great as a first step, because it helps me to get to know the person really well and see what the issues are. And it helps them to get to know me and to trust me and how we could perhaps work together in the future.
Sorry, Penny. Let me interrupt. One of the things that I can attest to is, certainly in terms of healing. If you take the woo-woo and the frou-frou out of it, in terms of healing and in terms of the massage stuff that you do, the oils and everything, the colors, the aromas, it's all been proven to have an effect on the human body. Couple that with somebody who is very empathetic and compassionate. I've been there. Penny's a brilliant healer. I highly recommend it. Sorry, Penny, do continue. Thank you. So the next step would be, if somebody wants or craves-- say their body is craving physical touch, then their next step would be to have either an antineia treatment, which this massage is very soft and very gentle and very loving. It's mostly worked only on the back of the body. And the body is massaged three times in one treatment, using 12 different light matrix oils. So the first sequence of color, you would have the physical chakra colors placed on the physical body. So that means red would go from the feet to the top of the legs. Orange would go around the hip area. Yellow around the middle of the back. Green at the top back, the higher back. Blue around the neck. Indigo on the lower part of the head.
And violet on the top part of the head. And when we're doing the first massage, we're working slightly firmer. It's still not a deep tissue massage by any means. But we're just wanting to let the muscles know that we're supporting it. And the body gets to know that there is some physical support. And then once we finish that, which takes about 40 minutes, we then go back. And we're changing colors around to support the emotional body. And now, because it's emotions, we're working with pouring love into every one of those cells. And it's much gentler. It's much lighter. And that sequence would only take about 20 minutes. And then the last one is connecting to your own soul self. And to do that, we're placing the 12 colors on the body. And it's very, very light. It's almost like an etheric touch or a feather touch. And that only takes about 15 minutes. And then I've developed this-- sorry, before I developed it. The part of the antineal treatment is working with color. Color you can see and touch and feel. So it's links to everything that's tangible in your life, everything you could see and touch and feel. But I believe that we need to balance both the inner and the outer being. And the way we balance the inner is through sound.
Because when you hear sound, you can only get how you react to sound. So if you listen to certain music, some will make you relaxed. Others will make you highly charged or energized. Others will freak you out. So the sound bit is just as important. And the sound works with balancing the inner emotional and spiritual development. So I used to tone over the body. And each chakra had a different tone, a different sound. However, most people that I train freak out when I tell them that they have to tone. And they get all nervous about it. So a lot of therapists were just leaving out the sound bit because they weren't confident doing that. And then it's not a full antinere treatment. So I then developed this-- it looks like a xylophone that has chime pipes in it. And each pipe is a different length. And you would rest that on the back and actually play music onto the spine. And you would find that just sinking into the cells and resonating on a whole different level on the body. That's fascinating. Yeah, so that's basically what the antinere treatment is. Now, I don't offer one-on-one sessions with antinere treatment anymore because I just don't have enough time. I run my business completely on my own.
And there's just so much to do on all levels. And also, I can make the decision not to do it because otherwise everybody wants to come to me because I developed it. And I really want to support the therapists that I train. So on my website, which is divinespace.co.za, I have a list of therapists in all different areas, including overseas. I've got therapists a lot in the UK. I've got in Australia. I've got one in the USA. So people could choose somebody and just go and experience that truly, truly divine treatment. You leave there feeling like you have been kissed by angels from top to toe. No, it's definitely an incredibly relaxing, calming, grounding kind of treatment. But you don't do just that now. You mentioned that you've now-- I mean, since we last spoke, you've certainly branched out a whole lot. So what else are you doing at the moment? So about eight years ago-- sorry, even before that, 12 years ago or a bit more, my kids and I bought a house together. And my children are both, at that stage, Pilates instructors. So half the house was the Pilates studio, and half the house was my own home. And we shared that space for seven years. And for seven years, I kept thinking, what the hell have I done?
Because my office faces the gate, and I felt like I was just the gatekeeper, letting people in and out from Hopper 6 in the morning to Hopper 7 at night that were coming to Pilates. And my beautiful, zen, quiet space was no more. And their business was growing so beautifully that we came to a decision one day that they needed to pack up and find another place to run their business from. And they started looking around and finding another house to run it from. And we tried to get a bond from the banks to both sell this place and for me to take it over and then to buy something else. And eight years ago was at that time when no banks were giving bonds to anybody. Especially if you were running your own business and you weren't getting a determined set salary. - Nothing much has changed there, by the way. - So we tried to get a bond with all the banks and were turned down by every single bank, which put me into a great depression. And whenever you are down, you sabotage everything in your life. This is really something that's proven. And I've seen it over and over and over again in my own life and others. So what happened was my business came to an absolute standstill. And I thought, oh, thank God, I didn't buy this house 'cause I wouldn't have been able to afford it on my own anyway.
And while I was in that state, one of my students had just done this access bars training. Access bars had just, access consciousness had just brought that modality to South Africa maybe three months before. It was brand new in South Africa. And Marieke phoned me and said, hey, would you like to swap sessions? And I went, oh yes, please, that sounds awesome. So she came here and I did this antennae treatment on her which takes two hours and it's all the stuff that I just explained. It's quite an intense treatment. And I then said to her, okay, you do this new thing you've just done on me, I wanna see what that's about. And I remember lying on the bed thinking seriously, she's just holding my head. Really? He's just holding my head. And why do they charge for this? And I was very in my left brain thinking, and why is she holding that for so long? It must be a problem there. I wanna know what that means. Tell me so that I can fix it. You know how we are. And after a while, I just couldn't anymore and I dropped into a very, very deep sleep. And when I got up after the session ended, I couldn't remember my name. And it's like she'd taken my brain out and chopped it up like macaroni and shoved it back in again.
And I went, okay. 'Cause I always try new stuff that comes. And if I feel no difference, and if nothing shifts in my life, then I know it's not a tool for me. But for this, I went, okay, there is something in this because I feel weird and I feel different. And I had a session again, two weeks later, 'cause I woke up one morning and went, I need another one of those, like today. Had another one. And because I knew what to expect the second time, 'cause the first time I didn't have a clue. Nothing was explained, so I didn't have a clue what it was all about. But the second time I knew what to expect, so I just dropped deeply into it. And oh my word, when I woke up afterwards, everything looked brighter around me. I felt lighter than I had in years. I started feeling happy for the first time in I don't know how long. And my life just started becoming easier. And I went, this I have to learn, this is amazing. I found a course within a few weeks, went on the course, and then I just galloped into it. I've now done so many different trainings all over the world in this. And I have taught probably four, 500 people on it. And just absolutely love it. And it's such an easy modality to do, 'cause you just literally sit and hold the head in different positions.
And as you move your fingers to touch different points, so it relates to different belief systems. And what we kind of, how we explain it, is that everything you've ever gone through in the whole of your existence, becomes the computer program. Remember those old floppy disks? - Yes, yes. - If you wanted to download a new program on your computer, you slide this floppy disk in and so it does it. So everything you've ever experienced in the whole of your existence ends up being the program that is on that floppy disk. And when you choose to be reborn and have a new life, you go, okay, that's my stuff, give it to me again. So all we tend to do is replay our issues over and over and over again. And while I'm holding that head, I'm actually going back in time and trying to collapse and wipe the programming or the belief systems that you have been stuck in for eons. And-- - Yeah. This makes sense as well in terms of NLP,
which is now, they've now changed it. The new term is neuro-linguistic psychology. But there they talk about collapsing anchors, which are very much, very similar, if I understand correctly, to these programs that you keep on repeating and repeating. - Yeah, but this is done with very little conscious work from the client, 'cause they just lie there and fall asleep. And I give them a whole lot of tools to work with, some ideas of what to do and how to change their lives. The access consciousness tools are very different to everybody else. We don't do affirmations, we don't do visualizations. We work specifically with being in the question and holding questions and giving the question up to your higher self to find the answer. Whereas in life as humans, what we tend to do all the time is try and solve problems and fix things and find answers. And this is not about finding answers, it's allowing your higher self to find the answer. So the tools are quite different, but they work. And I promise you it's changed my life. When I did that very first course, and the one thing that I learned was to be in gratitude and to keep asking for more, and somebody phoned me and ordered one of my tiny little mini oils, which are 75 rand for the little ones, the bigger, that's the 50 mil, the 20 mil ones are 200 rand.
So somebody phoned and ordered one of the tiny ones. And what I would have done previously is gone, "Oh my God, only one oil, seriously? "That's not gonna help me get out of my poo this month. "I need many more than that." - Yeah. - So you're never grateful for it and you kind of sabotage it, but you never think that it's enough. So instead I went, "Yes, thank you. "The orders are flowing again. "I'm so grateful. "Thank you, thank you, thank you. "How does it get better than this?" The next order was bigger, the next order was bigger. Well, now I export my oils to both Taiwan and to France. I've got two distributors on both two ends of the world, which is interesting. And they buy coke this a month. So it has just got better and better and better. And within two or three months of doing that very first course, I managed to get a bond for this house with absolute ease and no issue whatsoever. Bought my kids out, they moved out, they've bought another house and got a bond easily. I mean, with us just all working with these tools, you cannot believe how much easier our life has got. And I'm just so grateful for that. So the Access Bars, so the Access Bars, sorry, Dave, is a one-day course where we do two swaps.
I give you a whole lot of tools to work with. We watch videos. I give you a yummy lunch. And then we do two swaps so that you can get to see and I can just confirm and make sure you've got your fingerprint placements right. And then you can go, off you go. And you can be a bars therapist. - Okay, how's that spelled? Access, A-C-C-E-S-S and bars, B-A-R-S. - Bars in where you're going for your next beer when lockdown is over. - We're gonna talk about that. And we're running out of time. So when we come back, we're gonna wrap up with Penny and then find out a little bit more about what she does and how we can get in touch with her. It is what's involved.
And we're back. And my special guest from Divine Space is Penny Duplisi. Doing some fascinating stuff. One of the reasons I wanted to talk to you at this time specifically, 'cause I know we've threatened to do this a couple of times. I've never gotten around to it. But this time specifically is we are living in a world that literally has been turned upside down. Nothing is what we're used to. We don't know where we're going. There's so much uncertainty and tension with all of those things in this world. And I thought, you know what, Penny, if anybody knows how to navigate this, Penny is the person to speak to. How has lockdown affected you? How has the coronavirus affected you, your business? And what are you doing to counteract the, never mind the actual physical COVID-19, but the psychological effects of it? So the first thing was for the first three months, obviously we were all in lockdown. So nothing much happened. No business, no, I was just in touch with all my therapists and supporting them and giving them help and uplifting them. And what was interesting on the 22nd of April, I was given the vision of making a new oil that would support us during this time. And this oil had to go back into having cover in it.
Which I fought against 'cause I didn't want the color, but I was told people are so in their fear at the moment that we are in the third, back in the third dimension, just sitting in the fear. So this-- - It's a green oil, it's green. - It's an olive colored oil. And why it's olive is because what makes it olive is the hidden yellow and the hidden yellow is the fear and green is about the space that we're in. And I've used lots of essential oils that will help to boost immune systems and open lungs. So it has lots of eucalyptus in, it's got all sorts of clove and cinnamon, all sorts of warming, beautiful essential oils. And I understand you, I'm on my fourth bottle since the 22nd of April. I use it every morning and every night. I put it on my face, my neck, my shoulders and right around my chest area. And I usually get seasonal, not flu.
God, I've gone blank on the word. - Basically like a cold, a common cold. - Yeah, yeah, allergies, I always get allergies and it always ends up being sinus and then the sinus pours down my throat and then I cough and cough and cough and cough for months. That's been my pattern my whole life. What's so amazing is that I have a little bit of sinus buildup, but none of that incessant coughing that I had before, no flu symptoms. Every time I think, oh, am I getting something because I'm just feeling a bit bunged up, put the oil on next morning, I'm fine. So it's really helping me to build my immune system and I am immune compromised because I have an autoimmune illness. So, but I'm not stressed about it at all. I think that this is such a joke that it's been blown so out of proportion and people are panicking and are really concerned more about the economical effect than anything else. I mean, if you look at the death rate, it's minimal compared to any other flu that you would get. - Yeah, it's one of those things. And that's what I specifically asked you about. This is because of the uncertainty. On the one hand, oh, excuse me. I better not cough now then I'll be in trouble. On the one hand, there's fear mongering and there's all sorts of stuff and conspiracy theories.
On the other hand, there is a reality that this disease is here to stay. I don't think we're gonna wake up in the morning and it's suddenly gonna be gone. So it's the way to balance that. And you say that this new oil, it helps with that. And I can understand, you know, if you talk about the different essential oils. - Now, just going back to that, it helps if you use it as a preventative measure. If you've already got a full blown heavy flu symptoms, it will help ease them slightly. But the idea is to use it before so that you can build your immune system. It's not gonna be a quick fix to cure COVID by any means. - Okay, all right. Well, we didn't dare make that claim. But Penny, business wise for you, and are you still able to trade? I know you can send your stuff overseas, et cetera, et cetera. But are you and your therapists, are you not? - Yeah, we've been working again since level three. We're working again because we're seeing individual clients and I only see one or two a day so that they're well spaced and the room can be sanitized in between and I can be sanitized in between. And just being back in doing the therapy work has supported both me and the clients. Most of what I'm offering is either access bars treatments where I'm just holding the head or doing color readings.
Or one of the other things I do is access also has a whole, they have about 50 different body processes which I also teach. In some of our building immune system, there's not 100, there's 50 to choose from. So those I also offer to clients where I'm just placing my hands on the body and just calling up these particular treatments and asking them to run and just changing the cells so that they can accept the change. And that's been very, very supportive again for both the client and myself. But one of the key things that I just need to let everybody know, and this is really important, is not to be in fear. Because while we're in fear and while we're focusing on our fear, you actually will invite that in. Because whatever you give attention to, your higher self does not know the difference between what is a positive and what is a negative. The higher self only focuses on whatever you're giving attention to. So if you're freaking out about, I have to be so careful and I can't see anybody and what if, what if, what if, higher self goes, oh, okay, so you want all of that to play in, let's give you some more of that to play in. And you invite it in. When you are completely unconcerned and not stressed and I know it's difficult out there because people are struggling in so many ways, financially and emotionally and on all levels.
Just try and find something that will help to take your mind off it. Go and do some courses on the internet that are very low priced or free. There's so many. Go and do, just investigate, watch happy movies, spend time with your children having fun. Don't get so intense and so worried about things because you will call it in. So that's the best advice I can give you. - I think that's very sound advice. I mean, I've learned my lesson that the hard way during this lockdown period, because I keep going, can it get any worse? And then the universe is like, looks at me and goes, hold my bear, let me show you. - Sure, sure, you want to see how bad it can be. Let's give you some more shit to deal with. - Yeah, exactly. So that was a lesson, hard learned and well learned. Penny, if somebody wants to get in touch with you, either about becoming a antinea, a therapist, or doing the bath courses, et cetera, et cetera, or maybe they just want to buy some oil. What is the best place to do that? Email address?
- I would say my website would be step number one. I've got lots of lovely videos on the website. In fact, I was on a program on TV called Real Health three times, and they very kindly gave me the video clips afterwards. So I have a little video clip that demonstrates the three different modalities that I share. So the magic of color, the access bars, and the antinea treatment. And those are all on my homepage on my website, which is www.divine.co.za.
And please, divine is spelled with an I, D-I-V-I-N-E S-P-A-C-E .co.za.
And then from there, you can link to any of the therapists or to myself. If you click on the course diary, all the courses I run are there with lots of information on each and how you can book through there. Or you can email me at penny@divinespace.co.za.
- Fantastic, so that's penny@divinespace.co.za. Penny, thank you so much for taking the time out of, I know you are one of the lucky ones that are very busy at the moment, so I do appreciate your time. We wish you all the best and hopefully in this time, people can reach out to you and get some relief and some comfort. Thank you, Damon. Wonderful speaking to you again. It has been far too long. - It has, it has. We definitely need to catch up. But once again, thank you so much, Penny. We do really appreciate your time. - Awesome, thank you, Dave. Take care and keep well. - That's Penny Duplessis from Divine Space. This is what's involved. And just one more thing from me to you. Thank you for listening.
