On this episode I chat with Pepe about his new book Twenty Habits That Break habits.  This is a brilliant follow up to Growing Greatness and I would definitely recommend reading both books.

Pepe is the author of Growing Greatness, published in 2018. Part autobiography, part business case study, the book details the development of his Purpose for Business methodology and offers key lessons in how to unlock both human and business potential. Including numerous lessons for both aspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders, Growing Greatness has been on Exclusive Books’ top 10 business books since it launched.

A serial entrepreneur since childhood, Marais and business partner, Gareth Leck, co-founded the highly successful Joe Public advertising agency in 1998. The agency’s Take-Away Advertising concept disrupted traditional advertising agency models and resulted in the agency winning the coveted Financial Mail Emerging Agency of the Year award in its first year of operation.

Joe Public was nominated as one of SA’s companies to watch in its second year. In its third year of business, the agency was sold to DraftFCB America. Marais and Leck went on to buy Joe Public back from DraftFCB in 2009, ensuring the agency was once again a 100% proudly South African entity.
